Synopsis
This book brings together a selection of the original plein-air watercolour sketches by the artist Norman Ackroyd. Some have been produced under arduous conditions of weather and sea and are some of his most memorable etchings.
About the Artist
Norman Ackroyd is a contemporary English artist who studied at Leeds College of Art and then at The Royal College of Art, London. He was made a Royal Academician in 1991. He has produced a large body of work whilst touring the U.K. filling many watercolour notebooks and producing more than five hundred etchings of the coast and the islands. He lives in London.
