The book also includes an extensive selection of documents from the Stuart Papers, which are a collection of letters and papers relating to the Jacobite cause and the exiled Stuart dynasty
About the Author
James Browne was a Scottish journalist and author who lived from 1793 to 1841. He was educated at the University of St. Andrews and wrote several books on Scottish history, especially the Highlands and the clans. He also edited the Caledonian Mercury newspaper and contributed to various periodicals
