A fine antique silver and amethyst paste stone thistle flower bookmark - makers initials ALLD who were the famous silversmiths Adie & Lovekin Ltd. The piece is hallmarked as Birmingham, 1911.
The firm became Adie & Lovekin Ltd in 1889 manufacturing a wide range of silver goods at their workshop in Regent Street, Hockley, Birmingham.
