This is a rare book from the mid 19th century and is an anecdotal history of Edinburgh's port.

This is a rare book and edition and its condition is only fair.

There is some overall looseness in the binding.

The cover boards are in a fair condition but the title on spine is heavily warn and difficult to read. There is also wear and tear at the top and bottom of the spine and bumping on the corners.

There is a previous owner name and drawing in ink on front end paper and some notes in ink on the back end paper.

The inside page are clean but heavily age-tanned.
