Celtic Myth and Legend - Poetry & Romance

This is an extremely attractive turn of the century edition - with a stunning binding and with colour and monochrome illustrations by J.H.F Bacon A.R.A and other artists.

The author, in his preface, boasts that this is the first edition that provide the reader a "clear" & "compact" story of the myths & legends of the Gaelic & British Celts.

This early 1900's edition(there is no edition date) is in fine condition. The cover boards are smart only a slight fade and the titles and  images are clear and bright. There is some folding at the top and bottom as well as a small crease in the spine.

There is a previous owner name in ink on the opposite title page. There is also evidence of a removed previous book plate.

The inside pages are clean and bright with some minor spotting around some edges. The pages lightly age-tanned.
