The American author Margaret Fay Shaw recounts her life in Canna & South Uist between the wars, learning gaelic and falling in love with traditional music and recitations.

This is an original 1993 first edition and ex library copy so it is in excellent condition.

The orginal dust cover has its own protective plastic cover so it is clean &  undamaged.

There are some libary(Devon library) stamps on the inside cover and on publishing details page but otherwise all inner pages are clean and bright.
