Gairloch in North-west Ross-shire

This is a famous work which recounts the history, the legends, the people and the wildlife in one of the most spectacular West Coast settings of Loch Maree and the town of Gairloch. 

A 1st edition of this book is relatively rare and this is a fine example of one. The blue buckram binding  has lost some colour but is generally well preserved with illustrated(Loch Maree) on front board.  There is a slight lean to the binding. Inisde the pages are bright and clean throughout with just some spotting along the outer edges of the paper.
