The Warrender Papers are a miscellaneous collection of 16th & 17th century manuscripts which relate to the period between the accession of Mary to the Scottish throne in 1542 and the death of her son, James VI. in 1625. Some of these documents relate directly to the execution of Mary Queen of Scots and are used by Rait & Cameron to try to establish the true role of James VI in his mother's executuion.

Overall very condition - good clean and bright blue cover boards and clear gilt titles on the spine,
The inside pages are clean and bright with some very light foxing on the title page and light age-related tanning of the paper throughout.
