This is a follow up to the author's first published collection of poetry "Law Lyrics" published in 1885.
A collection of 57 new poems all using various rhyming structures.
Robert Bird was born in Govan, Glasgow in 1854, and distinguished himself at Glasgow University by taking honours in Scots Law and gaining a prize in the English literature class for a poem on the Glasgow Statue to Burns. After passing as a procurator, he joined his father in practice in Glasgow in 1878.
Condition Notes
A good clean copy with the exception of the back cover board which has at some point taken some water and left some stain and lifting of the cloth cover. Otherwise the book has good clean and bright pages throughout.
