Synopsis
The Period of Scottish History between the 9th and the 12th century was critical in the creation of a new Kingdom of Scotland.
This historical work follows the reigns of the Constantine II, Malcolm I, Idulf and Malcolm II as the kingdom expanded southwards into Strathclyde and the borders and culminating in the dramatic reign of Malcolm III (or Malcolm Canmore) during which disparate elements of the Kingdom were unified into a more English-influenced Kingdom of Scotland.
