John Laing of Troon, Ayrshire (1850 and 1931) He travelled to Australia working as a cook, but returned to Troon where there is a street named after him. He published this book of traditional Scottish poetry* and was a regular contributor to the local Troon newspaper. The work contains a preface by John Laing.
Condition Notes
A good copy with some light damage to the top right corner of the front cover board but otherwise clean and well bound. The inside pages are bright and clean throughout with just the usual age-related tanning of the paper.
