Lionel Edwards (1878 – 1966) was a British artist who specialised in painting horses and other aspects of British country life. He is best known for his hunting scenes but also painted pictures of horse racing, shooting and fishing.
This volume contains 15 fine colour plates each plate with a vignette drawing to margin, covers aspects of Scottish sports including fishing, hunting, stalking.
Condition Notes
This handsome volume is in very good condition with an original dust cover providing protection to the whole book. There are some tears around the edges of the cover but it remains elegant.
The inside pages remain bright and clean throughout.
