Reminiscences of Scottish Life and Character is a Scottish classic first published in 1857. The book was re-editioned 22 times alone in his life time. It is a humorous attempt to qualify the Scottish condition.
Condition Notes
This is an unusaul binding - quite uncommon - with cloth cover boards and an embossed leather lozenge bearing the books titles and a gilt thistle. Inside the pages are bright and clean and tissue guards present for all 16 illustrations
