Synopsis
The author Edmund Selous journeyed twice to the Shetlands and this his second book is almost a daily journal; of his encounters with the birds of the Shetlands. He mentiosn in his preface that he spent all his days with no other companions but the birds and so it has become a very personal record.
Condition Notes
Despite the staining to the front cover board from previous dampness this is a fine copy with an excellent binding. There is some spotting on the front title page but otherwise the pages are bright and clean throughout and the book remains tightly bound.
