Seton Gordon was one of Scotland's great naturalists and in total wrote 26 books. He was born in Aberdeenshire, and lived much of his life in Scotland in the Cairngorms and in Skye.
This is a quite rare edition which focused on the Cairngorm high tops wher the author felt most at home and at one with his natural surroundings.
Condition Notes
This very handsome book has a few defects to the cover boards - some light fraying to the top of the spine and some sun fade all down the spine and then around the edges of the front and back cover baords. However the overall look of the book remains impressive.
Inside the pages are bright and clean throughout and remain strongly bound.
