    They appeared in the columns of Highland Newspapers and Magazines and the book is dedicated to the Glasgow Celtic Society. It is possible the book was The book was edited by Alexander MacBain and John MacPherson, and it included contributions from many different authors, including some anonymous ones.

    A very well presented copy with finallty debossed cover boards (slightly rubbed) and gilt title.

    Intresting inside end papers display publishers other books and "opinions of the Press" piece, There is a previous owner name (William A. Mackintosh) dated 1883 in ink.
