This edition was originally published in a splendid gilt embosed cover - in this copy ther has been a new binding of the original edition. The work traces the great River Tay from its wild source in the mountains of Argyll through to perhaps its most bucolic setting in the Perthshire town of Dunkeld. There are 58 illustrations by the artist A, Scott Rankin depicting scenes along the river's historic meandering way.

A very clean re-binding of the original 1st Edition ensuring it's continued preservation. Bright And clean pages throughout with just some light random foxing and the occasional stain.
