Ernest Arthur Gardner MA FSA (1878 – 1972) was an English writer, art historian and photographer.
He wrote a number of books about Scotland and this work he uses his photographic experiences to augment his descriptions of the Western Highlands from Argyll up to Ross and Sutherland and including a chapter on the Isle of Skye.
Condition Notes
A very handsome book on excellent condition with the only issue being the sun-fade loss of colour of the blue buckram clothed cover boards especially to the spine.
Inside the pages are breight and clean throughout with little or no foxing and all held together with a robust binding.
All photographic plates are present and clean.
