Walter Cooper Dendy (1794–1871) was a London Surgeon as well as writer and traveller.
In this volume(published 1859) he endeavours to recount his travels by boat up through the islands of the West coast of Scotland.
Condition Notes
This book is in fair condition for its age.
There is some looseness to the binding and the cover boards have some large discolouration especially on the front, along with some fraying on the edges and bumping on the corners.
The inside pages are generally clean with some minor random spotting and tanning on the edges. The ink from the dedication of a previous email has in time seeped through onto the image alongside the title page.
There is an attractive bookplate on the inside end paper.
