The first joint meeting of the Northern Literary and Scientific Societies first met in Elgin in 1881. During these meetings papers were presented and discussed and it was finally decided on merit to put these into print.

Condition Notes
Generally in good condition - half leather boards - leather has some rubbing and loss of shine and some rubbing. The Binding remains strong and the inside pages bright and clean throughout.
